To place an order or receive an estimate for a PCT International application, select the Direct Filing option under the Filing and Translation project type.
On the Jurisdictions page of the workflow, under Patent Application Jurisdictions, choose PCT International. You can quickly find this option in the search field using the ‘IB’ jurisdiction code.
If PCT International is selected, two extra fields are required.
To fill out the Receiving Office (RO) field, search by either RO code or name, e.g. IB - WIPO, EP - European Patent Office, or FR - France.
The options in the International Search Authority (ISA) field are filtered based on the RO selection. When selecting Japan as an RO, for example, you can choose from EP, IN, SG or JP as an ISA. Some ROs have the Other option available, which can be selected if a less common ISA is used.
