The client administrator can define which specific fields should be considered by the system for suggesting updates, via the 'Data update settings' in the Admin tab:

There are 3 options, that can be set for Patents and Trademarks separately:

- Automatically validate all suggested updates (the suggestion is automatically validated without user intervention)
NB: We do not advise to choose automatic updates on critical information such as Dates

- Do not suggest updates (no update suggestions are made by the system)

-  Suggest updates (the system sends update suggestions which require a validation by the user)
